Engineers & Planners Co. Ltd has announced plans to inject approximately $1.2 billion into its operations at the Tarkwa and Damang mines as part of efforts to expand capacity and strengthen production.
In line with this investment, the company has dispatched thirty (30) semi-knockdown Caterpillar 785D dump trucks to its operational base in Tarkwa, signalling a significant upgrade to its mining fleet.
E&P’s involvement in heavy-duty mining equipment began in 2002, and the company has steadily expanded its capacity over the years.
In 2018, it committed an estimated $650 million to enhance operations at Tarkwa and Damang Mines.
The new $1.2 billion investment reflects the firm’s continued focus on growth and operational excellence in Ghana’s gold mining sector.
