Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, Member of Parliament for Karaga and former Minister of Finance, has commended delegates and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region for their exemplary conduct during the party’s recent presidential primaries.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Northern Regional NPP Headquarters in Tamale on February 14, Dr Amin Adam said the peaceful and incident-free nature of the primaries once again demonstrated that the NPP remains Ghana’s most democratic political party.

According to him, the transparent and orderly process reflected the party’s deep commitment to internal democracy and respect for due process.

The Karaga MP urged members to sustain the spirit of unity and discipline exhibited during the primaries, stressing that cohesion within the party would be crucial ahead of the 2028 general elections.

He called on the rank and file of the NPP to close their ranks and work collectively towards securing a decisive victory over the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028.

Dr Amin Adam emphasised that reconciliation and unity would position the party strongly for the next electoral contest.
