Hamburger SV forward Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer has been called up to the Black Stars camp following the withdrawal of Inaki Williams and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The two players, Inaki and Thomas-Asante, suffered knocks during their recent league matches played last weekend.
Thomas-Asante featured for Coventry City in their 3-0 win over Swansea City in the Championship but was replaced by Josh Eccles in the 62nd minute after picking up a knock.
Inaki played the entire duration of Athletic Bilbao’s win over Real Betis, but subsequent scans revealed he sustained a knock during the match, preventing him from making the trip to Vienna.
Königsdörffer has already arrived in Vienna and is scheduled to train with the squad on Tuesday afternoon.
The 22-year-old has been instrumental for his club in the ongoing Bundesliga campaign, having scored four goals in 26 appearances.
The Black Stars face Austria on March 27 before playing Germany three days later.
