By As the world marked World Radio Day on Friday, February 13, representatives from Providence Insurance joined Joy FM’s Super Morning Show to celebrate the enduring role of radio in connecting communities and supporting businesses.
Speaking on the show, the Ashaiman branch’s manager, Andrew Baah, emphasised the importance of radio as a medium for information, education, and national development.
“On the 13th of every year, we are very much aware that the world celebrates World Radio Day. As a business, we recognise that radio connects communities and supports businesses,” he said.
He further commended media professionals, including presenters, producers, and other behind-the-scenes personnel, for their dedication to making radio a vital part of society.
Mr Baah also took the opportunity to highlight Providence Insurance’s motor insurance promotion for the first quarter of the year.
