P = played, W = won, D = drawn, L = lost, GF = goals for, GA = goals against, GD = goal difference. Teams level on points are separated by goal difference, then goals scored. Green = top three; red = bottom three.

It is tight at the top. Three clubs are locked on 14 points after seven rounds, with only goal difference separating them. Defending champions Medeama SC lost their unbeaten record on Matchweek 7, falling 2–1 at FC Samartex to a stoppage-time winner, but the Mauve and Yellows remain top of the log on goal difference. Hearts of Oak, who edged Vision FC 1–0, boast the best defensive record in the division, having conceded only two goals in seven games, while the Timber Giants’ win over the champions lifts them to third. Asante Kotoko’s 2–1 victory over Young Apostles leaves the Porcupine Warriors eighth on 11 points, three off the summit. At the other end, Dreams FC are yet to taste victory this season and are rooted to the bottom with three points from seven matches. The league takes a break next month for the Black Stars’ AFCON qualifiers against Somalia, so expect the GFA to squeeze in the fixtures around the November window.
